In 2018, Michelle was invited to collaborate with Escola Estadual Oroncio Murgel Dutra on the creation of the school web radio.
The station was created to bring school projects, academic information and community stories to students and local residents, while giving children and teenagers the opportunity to learn audio recording, editing, interviews, journalistic writing, music programming, advertising voice-over and program hosting.
Since then, the project has grown among students, giving voice to students, teachers, staff and the community through Webradio Oroncio, a channel for art, culture, local cuisine and community needs.
Seeing children, teenagers and an entire community use radio and technology to give visibility to their causes, productions and needs makes this one of the most rewarding projects of Michelle Brucks career.
